The Digital Enterprise Programme is expanding its services to SMEs by launching a the Digital Knowledge Exchange Service. The service will deliver a series of fully funded digital masterclasses and conferences, mentoring and digital audits to SMEs across the Leeds City Region. The aim of the newly launched project is to assist SMEs across the entire Leeds City Region to invest in digital technologies, improve their digital knowledge and ultimately help businesses to grow.
Over the next two years, the Digital Knowledge Exchange Service will be hosting fully funded masterclasses for eligible SMEs on a variety of exciting and innovative digital subjects. The programme will officially launch in September with a large conference named “Marketing the Art of” and until then, we have several workshops planned in September.
The typical customer journey will involve an eligibility check and application. Once accepted business can access a full digital audit of their business. Attendance at our digital and tech focused workshops, attendance at one of our four large conferences, and access to mentoring from one of our digital champions.
Businesses based in the Leeds City Region will be able to apply for the programme. Locations include; Bradford. Calderdale. Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York.
We’ll Conduct a Digital Audit of your business
The Digital Audit is an online assessment of a business’s online presence and technological needs, supported by a dedicated digital advisor and the creation of a personalised action plan with recommendations and supporting guidance and resources.
You can attend a Digital Masterclass
The programme will deliver 36 workshops delivered on a range of topics including; designing your ideal enterprise, customer service in a digital age, content and video marketing, designing your 2017-2018 social and digital marketing strategy and more. All workshops will include the important cross cutting themes of technological connectivity, cloud computing, data analytics and governance and risk. Scroll down to see our upcoming events.
You can attend a Conference
The programme will deliver 4 large digital and technology focused conferences; including workshops from industry experts, one to one mentoring, live demonstrations and access to suppliers. Dedicated mentoring support will be available to 50 businesses, offering confidence boosting help via a mixture of face to face, online and telephone mentoring. Ongoing Future Mentoring from our “Digital Champions”
Following on from the masterclasses and workshops, businesses who need additional support will be able to get one to one support from digital champions. By this stage of the programme we will have conducted our digital audit and understand the areas that you require support on. We can therefore match you with the relevant champion for you to access this support.
Call for Suppliers and Digital Champions: We will be actively seeking expressions of interest to hold an exhibition stand at our large conferences and we would love to hear from businesses and individuals who would like to provide mentoring support to the businesses on the programme.
