Excitement builds amongst businesses as nominations re-open for the Digital Enterprise TOP 100
Date: 13th November 2020
The Digital Enterprise TOP 100 is a campaign to celebrate the most innovative and digitally transformational businesses in the Leeds City Region.
Receiving over 500 nominations in 2019, the TOP 100 has now re-opened nominations for the 2020 campaign for businesses in Leeds, Bradford, York, Harrogate, Calderdale, Kirklees, Wakefield, Selby and Craven.
Successful nominations will be profiled in the TOP 100 Report, which provides extensive coverage for the leading 100 businesses as it is distributed across the region and nationally, as well as being available online. Additionally, the new members of the TOP 100 will be invited to the celebration event – in 2019, over 150 guests attended the event at the Leeds Everyman Cinema.
A new feature of the campaign is the TOP 100 Club. A jewel in the campaign’s crown, members will receive invitations throughout the year to exclusive networking events with inspirational speakers, have the opportunity to gain access to rewards provided by campaign partners and create a profile on the members forum. The forum is an online platform for members to share business opportunities, news stories and ideas.
It is anticipated that the celebration event, scheduled for February 2021, will be taking place virtually using the sector-leading software OnAir by EventsAir. At the event, guests will be able to meet with campaign partners, policy-makers and fellow members of the TOP 100, hear from special guest speakers and receive the coveted TOP 100 celebration box.
Muz Mumtaz, Head of Digital Enterprise said: “This year has been unprecedented in terms of the number of businesses increasing their digital activity because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to celebrate and cast a shining light on the inspirational stories of how digital technology has increased productivity, created new revenue streams and supported business growth despite these uncertain times.”
Rory Bourke, The Digital Knowledge Exchange’s marketing and event manager said: “The TOP 100 campaign recognises business at different stages of their digital journey whether they are pioneers leading the way internationally or businesses that have invested in new technology and digital skills. We’re looking forward to building on the success of the first year and to grow the TOP 100 community.”
