What Can the Digital Accelerator Grant Fund?

Our Digital Accelerator Grant is designed to support new projects that will fuel business growth. Whether it’s implementing a new CRM system to enhance customer service, adopting advanced analytics for data-driven decisions, or introducing e-commerce functionality, we want to support your ambition.

Our Digital Accelerator Grant is for projects costing up to £25,000. We’ll provide financial support worth up to 50% of the project costs (maximum value of £10,000), with the remaining balance being invested by your business.

**Please note: we are not currently accepting new registrations. We have reached capacity and have sufficient applications to allocate our current funding. We don’t yet know if or when further funding will become available. If you’d like to be kept informed of any future developments, please register your interest at digitalenterprise@leeds.gov.uk

Am I eligible for a Digital Accelerator Grant?

To be eligible for a Digital Accelerator Grant, your business would need to meet our core eligibility criteria, including being a B2B SME based in West Yorkshire, trading for at least 3 years, with a minimum of 5 FTE employees and a minimum annual turnover of £100,000. Your business must not have received Minimum Financial Assistance (funding from any national or local public sector scheme) in excess of £315,000 over the previous three financial years.

Grant restrictions apply if your business received funding and support under the previous Digital Enterprise programme (DE3), which ran from 1 July 2023 to 31 March 2025.

If you received a Digital Accelerator Grant under DE3, you are not eligible for another Accelerator Grant but you may be eligible to apply for a High Impact Grant.

Impartial Support for Your Digital Investment

When the programme is open, all eligible businesses are assigned a dedicated Digital Advisor – an independent sounding board who helps you cut through the noise and choose the right solution for your business, not just the latest technology trend.

In the meantime, free digital support is available now through the Digital Knowledge Exchange (DKE). DKE is a pilot project funded by the Department for Business & Trade and delivered by Leeds City Council through the Digital Enterprise programme and in partnership with UMi. It is designed to explore how digital adoption support can help small businesses become more efficient, resilient and ready for growth.

The programme supports SMEs based in and around West Yorkshire, across all sectors. Whether you’re at the start of your digital journey or looking to build on what you already have in place, DKE is designed to meet you where you are.

All businesses that join the 4-month programme receive free support with a wide range of digital topics including AI, cloud software and productivity, as well as cyber security and data protection.

Find out more and register your interest before 19th June 2026 to join the July 2026 cohort of Digital Knowledge Exchange.

Register Your Interest

Registrations for the Digital Accelerator Grant are currently closed. Due to the volume and quality of applications received, we have sufficient businesses in our pipeline to allocate our remaining funding.

If your business meets our eligibility criteria and you are considering a digital investment, we’d encourage you to register your interest. Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing – but it helps us demonstrate the level of demand for this programme to our funders, and ensures you’ll be among the first to hear of any future programme developments.
